Two different groups have recently published visual guides to the autonomous vehicle industry that I found helpful.
David Baker at The San Francisco Chronicle published the diagram above, which focuses on established automotive manufacturers and suppliers. The article also has great explanations of each segment of the graph.
At Comet Labs, Taylor Stewart put together an impressive taxonomy of 263 startups in the autonomous vehicle world, including many that I’d never noticed.
